Galaxy 00B at the President's Cup

The Galaxy 00 Boys team had a wild start to the 2018 President’s Cup this past weekend. On Saturday, they traveled to the San Marcos 5 Mile Dam fields to take on MSK Rayados 00B Red. The two teams had met last September as part of the WDDOA Challenger regular season, which had ended with a 2-1 victory for Rayados. This time, the Galaxy boys took an early 1-0 lead but suffered a major setback when their goalie was handed a controversial red card for allegedly handling the ball outside the box. Galaxy 01G at the President's Cup

The Galaxy 01 Girls team had a great start to the 2018 President’s Cup this past weekend. On Saturday, they traveled to the San Marcos 5 Mile Dam fields to take on NB Ajax 01 Girls White, a South Texas State Classic League (SCL) team that is ranked 12th on GotSoccer. The Galaxy girls didn’t let this intimidate them, scoring early in the first half on a corner kick and controlling the field for most of the rest of the game. Ajax put up a strong set of attacks late in the second, but the Galaxy defense held strong, and the game ended with a 1-0 victory. Board of Directors Meeting

The next meeting of the Galaxy Soccer Club Board of Directors will be Friday, April 27, 2018, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Clay Madsen Recreational Center in Round Rock, Texas. Academy Observations, POEs, and Tryouts

Galaxy Soccer Club has several important events coming up over the next two months that we are excited to share with everybody: Academy Observations Galaxy is kicking off their new Youth Academy program on April 23 with a series of FREE Academy Observation events for boys and girls born between 2009 and 2011 who are looking for a higher level of training and competition.
